In this piece, we saw that we can use a pre-trained object detection model from Fritz AI. Let’s now follow up on that and see how we can create a dataset and train our own object detection model.

Getting Started

The first step is to head over to Fritz AI and create an account.

Once you are logged in, click Add Project on the left to get started.

Next, start specifying your project details. Ensure that you select Custom Trained for the project type.

On the next step, select the Model Type — in this case it’s Object Detection.

The next step is to upload some seed images. These are the images that Fritz AI will use to generate the dataset. The images should be transparent.
